Join us for the first-ever NEW YORK CITY MARCH TO CLOSE ALL SLAUGHTERHOUSES.
WHAT: Thousands marching through the streets of Manhattan, demanding the closure of all slaughterhouses! We will have shirts available for order online. If you are not ordering a shirt, please wear red.
WHEN: Saturday, June 2, 11:30 - 2:30
WHERE: Meet at Union Square in front of Whole Foods, march to City Hall (route subject to change)
WHY: Over one trillion land and sea animals are violently slaughtered each year for human consumption. This peaceful march will unite animal advocates from around the world and bring attention to this unseen animal suffering. A 2017 study found that 47% of U.S. adults support a ban on slaughterhouses. The time is now!!
Some posters, banners, and leaflets will be provided. Stay tuned for poster-making parties in advance of the march.
